The Easter Bunny is really funny,He hops around the streets,With a basket full of treats,He is so furry,He does NOT worry,He has a pet chick that hops on sticks,It likes to talk when it’s drawing with chalk.

What I learned this year about division is that you can do short division. Everyone can  do division only if you try. Division is easy the short and long way. The answer to a division problem is quotient. Division is like subtraction but it’s not. Division is like 24 students split up into 8 equal groups. How many students go into each group?

I learned this year about multiplication is that you can make it really short. You can also use a grid to help you. You don’t have to divide to check. The answer to multiplication  problem is a product. Multiplication is like skipping addition. Multiplication is like Katie wrote 6 book reviews is 3 days. How many book reviews can she do in 30 days?
